Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Fasyh

Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Fasyh is currently appointed as the Deputy Commander of MNDF Male’ Area.

Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Fasyh joined the Maldives National Defence Force in 1994.

During his 24 years of service Major Fasyh served at Male’ International Airport in various posts in the then Airport Security Unit and the Regional Headquarters Hulhule’. Subsequently, he was Operations Officer of the MNDF Male’ Area and the Deputy Commander of the Aviation Security Command. He has served as an Instructor in a variety of trainings conducted by the MNDF and as an Instructor in Aviation Security Courses. Lieutenant Colonel Fasyh has worked in Staff Officer Jobs in MNDF Northern Area, MNDF Male’ Area and the Integrated Headquarters. He has worked in the Intelligence field for more than 5 years.

Lieutenant Colonel Fasyh has undergone various Military, Security and Intelligence related trainings in his career.

In recognition of his ongoing tenure of distinguished service, Lieutenant Colonel Fasyh has been decorated on several occasions. Consequently, he has been awarded the SAARC Medal, Good Conduct Ribbon (Twice), Defence Force Service Ribbon, Special Service Ribbon, Achievement Ribbon and Ribbon of Skill.

He is married, and has 3 children.
