Chief of Defense Force meets with military leaders from 3 countries.

Chief of Defense Force Major General Abdullah Shamaal, on his official visit to Hawaii has met with military leaders from Australia, India, and Bangladesh.

At the meeting held with Chief of Defense Force of Australia, General Angus Campbell, discussions were made on attaining training opportunities and enhancing human resources in field of maritime security.

Additionally, at the meeting held with Vice Chief of Army of India, Lieutenant General Chandi Prasad Mohanty, discussions were made in strengthening the historical military bond between both countries.

At the meeting held with Principal Staff Officer of Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh, Lieutenant General Waqar Uz Zaman, discussions were made in procuring equipment required by the Maldivian military and further solidifying the military bond between both countries.

Official visit by Chief of Defense Force, Major General Abdullah to Hawaii was with purpose of taking part in the “Chiefs of Defence Conference 2021” organized by US INDOPACOM ( US Indo Pacific Command).
