24-hour Coast Guard Fleet Run 2021 has commenced

In celebration of the 56th Independence Day of Maldives, MNDF Coast Guard has organized a run in the name “Fleet Run 2021” which will go on for a duration of 24 hours.

Guest of honor at the “Fleet Run 2021” commencing ceremony held today was Defense Minister Mariya Ahmed Didi while Chief of Defense Force, Major General Abdullah Shamaal, Vice Chief of Defense Force, Brigadier General AbdulRaheem AbdulLatheef and MNDF general officers as well as officers attended the ceremony.

Chief of Defense Force, Major General Abdullah Shamaal, Vice Chief of Defense Force, Brigadier General AbdulRaheem AbdulLatheef, Commandant of Coast Guard, Colonel Mohamed Saleem and general officers of MNDF physically took part in the run held until 15:00hrs tomorrow.

This run organized by initiative of Coast Guard Fleet in celebration of the 56th Independence Day of Maldives is with purpose of rejuvenating motivation and solidifying bond between sailors of Coast Guard. Running event held today was attended by more than 200 soldiers counting women. All personnel of MNDF are welcome in joining the run.
