The missing tourist who entered water to dive a reef near ADh.Mandhoo has been found. The English tourist gone missing was one amongst a group who traveled to the site in a vessel named “Goma”.

A search and rescue operation was initiated by MNDF Male’ Area Coast Guard Second Squadron after receiving report of incident on 15^th of January around 15:55hrs.

Divers of MNDF Coast Guard recovered the body of the missing tourist from a depth of 15 meters today around 15:10hrs.

MNDF Coast Guard Divers and sea vessels were involved in the search and rescue operation conducted while resorts located in the area aided to the operation.
