MNDF Fire and Rescue Service has extinguished the fire ignited on trees planted in front of MNDF Flats at Hulhumale’.

Followed by the report received at FRS around 22:29hrs tonight, firefighters of FRS Hulhumale’ Fire Station were dispatched to the scene. Through continuous effort, these firefighters were able to completely extinguish the fire around 01:20hrs tonight.

Although no one was harmed in the incident, the fire spread to an area of around 100 feet.
