MNDF Fire and Rescue Service has responded to an incident of gas explosion at the 8^th floor of M.Ruhunaa.

Firemen of MNDF FRS were dispatched immediately following the report received at FRS fire control room around 18:29hrs. Flames from the gas cylinder placed beneath the gas stove exploded, slightly burning the knee of the woman who turned on the stove.

The 32-year-old woman has been transferred to the hospital to treat the burn wounds.
