MNDF Central Area Coast Guard Third Squadron has evacuated a fisherman who was struck in the eye with a fishhook.

Report of the injured man was received by MNDF Central Area Coast Guard Third Squadron around 19:34hrs. A vessel of MNDF Central Area Coast Guard Third Squadron travelled near the buoy of L.Hithadhoo to evacuate the fisherman onboard vessel “Sea Horse 3”. 62-year-old fisherman was evacuated L.Gan Regional Hospital around 21:59hrs.
