MNDF Central Area Command in coordination with the council of L.Maavah has administered a first aid awareness program in the island.

Program held on 2^nd of August for the fisherman of L.Maavah had 27 participants. Information conveyed at the program included basic CPR, bandaging based on the type of injury, and how to use the stretcher.

Personnel of  MNDF Central Area Command acted as instructors of the program.
